Hey there! I'm Kelcey, a 25 year old artist and photographer based in Woodbine, Maryland.

I've always had an interest in photography and that is mostly attributed to my mom. She had digital and film cameras that she brought with her almost everywhere and we were always getting our picture taken. From a very young age I have been interested in photography and would often take her cameras and go out and take my own pictures. Before I went to college, I was gifted a Nikon D3300 that went with me everywhere. I was hooked. A couple of years and several thousand pictures later, I have made it into a business.

I've been riding horses and have had dogs my entire life. I currently have two dogs, Cali and Sparrow. I was put on a horse at the age of four and have never stopped riding since. I am the crazy horse girl in a lot of my circles and I am very proud of it! I also have experience training dogs and working with horses, so I am very comfortable around both.

When I was in college I worked as a receptionist and event staffer at an amazing event venue in Laguna Beach, California. I fell in LOVE with weddings and events in general. There is something really incredible about being able to assist someone with what is arguably one of the most special days in their life. I personally love every second of it. It brings me a lot of happiness and joy.

I graduated the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Illustration and I now work as a full time interactive designer. My job entails design, photography, videography, and lots of odds and ends art stuff that has made my "art senses" even sharper. I believe that being trained and versed in several different art mediums makes a great all around artist and it has definitely carried over into my photography. 

 

Photographing you, your precious family and animals, and your most special moments is truly a joy that I cherish very deeply. With my experience from photography at a young age, to my life long love of animals and being around them, to a Bachelor's Degree in art- I feel confident that I would be a great photographer for any of your photography needs.
